During the match
Layla watches the minimap, the HUD and the scoreboard while you fight, and only speaks when it matters.
Raids on the minimap with the direction and what's being hit, idle villagers, pop-cap blocks one house early, and resources piling up unspent.
A warm voice with a personality: she cheers good timings, warns you calmly, and never talks over herself. Adam's clear basic voice is free.
When an army hits you, it reads your selection panel and the enemy army (seen or predicted) and tells you which units to make, with counts and cost from your current resources.
Each player's rating next to their name and a win chance before the match, then a live estimate that moves with what happens: resigns, landmarks, big fights.
On the loading screen Layla names the map and gives a quick brief: what it plays like, the strongest civs there, how long games usually last, and how you do on it.
Link with friends over the same Wi-Fi or online. Their attacks show up on your screen and your pings on theirs, so you defend each other without typing.
Between matches
Every match becomes something you can learn from, and every question has someone to answer it.
Age-up times, villager pace, idle time, attacks taken, and kills & losses per player from the end screen. Three things to fix next game.
Ask Layla about your last match, a matchup or a build order. She knows your numbers and answers short and straight.
Pick two civs, units and upgrades and see who wins and what's left, with tiered upgrades, abilities and charge, Comparative and Versus modes, and equal cost or equal pop.
